Thinking that it's going to be good to be back in work on Tuesday next week. I look forward to start hanging out here more again. Vacation is just too busy!

I say bullshit - the survey was to determine ad placement television vs. internet for Budweiser beer, aka PissWasser in my family.
I buy sixpacks from the Imported Grab Bag section of my local booze mart. All brews within a brown paper bag made outside U.S., random assortment compiled by booze mart staff that is fun to open after I get home. I think my new favorite is Coopers.

Well, the way I feel now I won't drive on the motorway tomorrow. It's a club gig (TSOL is the band), so I did not buy tickets. It's also becoming "typical", last time they toured in 2011 I was ill with an ear infection...

Yeah, and I have been pretty busy lately doing other things. I will be back soon and start working on stuff, but not much to report when the band is on hiatus.

I was on vacation for a few days  and I was surprised that there was no activity in the forum. I am happy that I have not missed something important  

Well, I'll be offline for a while too (from next week on), so I hope I won't miss too many important news. (But if GN'R want to announce something BIG, I'll be happy to catch up on the news when I get back...)  

I've not disappeared but have been sidelined by two back-to-back and bizarre health issues, one of which impaired my sight so I couldn't drive or type, I only have internet access when I go to work. Luckily these are temporary with diminishing interference.

I've been to a great new venue for music in my area and saw an excellent show - not GNR related so I won't blather about it in here but Uproar Festival fan review will show up re. Walking Papers (with pictures) and briefly the Festival as a whole experience as well - by the way, Kat Benzova is on board as photographer/videographer for The Dead Daisies on tour with Uproar Fest and for their Facebook content,  .

Also, I have had a realization, kind of inspired by the thread about Fernando's unhappiness with some of the communications he's had to field, and by negative, while inane, postings in forums/comment sections of YouTube that I'd like to find the words for and put them in that thread.

I'll be back.

I want summer back! Here the weather went down from 28 degrees 1.5 weeks ago to about 15 degrees today. . On the upside, 15 is a lot better than 5 degrees.   

I'm back from my holiday and have to recover now...  
Had a grea time in Southern France (Languedoc-Roussilon), met many nice and interesting people, incl. Masons (honest), modern "Knights Templar" (really) and reincarnated Cathars (well not so sure about that...)! Went up to many old castles, visited churches and caves and cemeteries... Had great food & wine and had a lot of fun. Haven't laughed that much in a month as I did in a week here.

At least there's the Replacements reunion and a planned Bumblefoot solo tour in 2014 to keep me a little bit excited!  
(Btw, it seems like Bumble had to change his plans due to some "other commitment", maybe there is something in the bush...)
