Orgy of the Damned Discussion

Slash is releasing his new album Orgy of the Damned next week. It's a cover album brimming with blues-rock standards like Crossroads, Hoochie Coochie Man, and Oh Well, with fun cameos from folks like Chris Robinson, Billy Gibbons, Chris Stapelton, and Iggy Pop. To promote the album, Slash is even giving away a signed Gibson guitar.

What do folks think of the two tracks that have been released so far? Looking at the collaborators, it kind of reminds me of the Santana and friends album from the early 2000s.

I'm looking forward to the album and I enjoyed the two singles (as cover versions and not in comparison to the originals).

Yes, it is somewhat similar to that Santana album, yes.

I like that Slash has found a groovy rhythm player to record the album and to tour with him.

His name is Tash Neal and he is also a songwriter. He is likely going to be the singer for the tour

This guy seems to be infinitely superior to all the rhythm guitar players that Slash has ever played with after 1991 when he stopped playing consistently with Izzy Stradlin

And he seems to be a good singer



This makes all the difference

Of all the players that ever played with Axl, Izzy, Slash, Duff and Steven, this guy seems to be among the best

I am expecting some magic on the live shows!

I am also expecting that he will get a few extra subscribers for his official youtube channel. The guy has 391 subscribers as of today, May 10, 2024!

This guy is pretty rad. It's pretty insane he has so few Youtube subscribers. He has a great voice/vibe and is a phenomenal rhythm player. Thanks for sharing!
