So you are one of few to have heard Locomotive live. Was it good?

I've always remembered it to be a little sloppy and I do remember Axl messing up the lyrics and when he did, he looked pissed off. They also played Breakdown that night, another rarity. And even more rare, since it was a Friday the 13th, Axl did a little of the "ch-ch-ch-ch, ah-ah-ah" thing from the Friday the 13th movies

Sad to think that we will probably never get to hear Locomotive and Breakdown live again...

They are 2 of my all time favourite GNR songs. Probably in my top 10. They sound like no other GNR songs. The lyrics are some of the best Axl has ever written.

The lyrics for Locomotive are my favourite too, they are just brilliant. I think it's strange he hasn't got more praise for them; the song has always been a "Slash song" but he just added the riff, the lyrics and vocals make it into a song.
